Some pilots, have problems with relay and rFactor opened.
The CPU works to 100% and the game releases.
How to resolve?

Some pilots have Socket architecture "A"
Some pilots have Socket architecture AMD "754" 3400 64bit
Some pilots have Socket architecture AMD "939" 3700 64bit

Thanks

Hi,

This is a known issue, however Relay will use 60%+ cpu when rFactor runs minimized. Relay will use 0% cpu when rfactor is running full screen. So this is not really a problem.

Ok!

But Some pilots have a low frame rates with Relay and rfactor Opened.
This can depend on relay or only on the PC?

Several issues are reported and it seems as only AMD processors are affected

Try open your Relay.ini [found in the Relay installation directory and set 'dualcpu=3'.[this will disable the use of multiCPU in rFactor]
Code:
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
[LANGUAGE]
french=$0000040C
german=$00000407
[RFACTOR]
dualcpu=3
[INSTALL]
lastnameused=RC
arcapathtogame=C:\ARCA Remax\
rfactorpathtogame=C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor\

Also be aware that Relay will use +55% cpu ONLY when rFactor is minimized!, when rFactor runs fullscreen Relay should use close to 0% cpu. [you can check this with the windows perfmonitor.

I have the same problem in my league :( :(

We try to lunch rFactor in windowed mode but we had 58%/60% of cpu usage.

This problem it's in all type of cpu (intel, amd) and some pilots have a low frame rates with Relay and rfactor Opened :stare:

Hi RC,
What setting should I change in the .ini file to inform Relay about a multi-CPU use?
dualcpu=1 or dualcpu=2???
Thanks,
Oli

Tere is no need to manipulate those settings, relay will autodetect how many cores u have.
To disable the autodetect you can set 'dualcpu=3' this will launch your game in single cpu mode
